SOMATIC INTEGRATION

From Emotion into Movement

Body · Music · Emotion · Movement

A somatic journey from inner experience into embodied expression — through conscious listening, classical music and free movement.

When Emotion Becomes Movement

Emotional experiences can leave traces in the body. What could not be fully felt or expressed may remain as tension, holding or a sense of inner restriction.

From Emotion into Movement creates a space to meet an emotional theme through body awareness, conscious listening and free movement.

Inspired by the music-therapeutic work of Anna Elisabeth Röcker and the natural movement principles of Isadora Duncan, classical music becomes an impulse for sensing, expression and movement.

Rather than analysing the emotion, we listen to how it is experienced in the body and allow movement to emerge from there.

Through this process, held emotions may begin to move, tension can soften, and previously bound energy may become available again for vitality, expression and creativity.

THE JOURNEY

1 · Arrive & Sense
We begin by slowing down and bringing awareness into the body. Breath, grounding and conscious listening create space to notice what is present.

2 · Listen & Feel
Through carefully selected classical music, we explore an emotional theme without needing to explain or analyse it. Sensations, images, impulses and feelings are allowed to emerge.

3 · Move & Express
The body is invited to respond. Through natural and free movement, what has been held inside can find its own form of expression.

4 · Integrate
We gradually return to stillness, noticing what has shifted. Grounding and reflection support the experience in settling into the body.

Not About Dancing “Right”

No choreography.
No performance.
No need to know how to dance.

The invitation is to listen — and discover the movement that is already present within you.

No dance experience required.

A Space for Integration

The session can stand on its own or support integration after experiences that have already activated emotional or bodily processes — such as Meditation, Breathwork, Emotional Release, Massage or other forms of bodywork.

It can also be entered simply with an emotion, inner tension or personal theme that feels present in the moment.
